OUR STORY

Over the past few years, the secondary school library has been undergoing a transformation into what is now known as The School Library Media Centre (SLMC). This transformation has been facilitated by the Ministry of Education through the Secondary School Modernization Programme (SEMP) providing the library with new technology, equipment and resource material geared towards improving the standard of school libraries.

At Siparia West Secondary School Library, our aim is to provide users with a comfortable, reliable, equitable and supportive atmosphere to assist with educational development.

The library is located at Block D and is accessible to the school population throughout and beyond the school day. At present our staff consist of Mrs. Bhagwatie Rampersad Ramkhelawan, Librarian I and Mrs. Sunita Bansraj-Indal, Library Assistant II.
